Steven Rinella is the host of the Netflix Original MeatEater, currently in its seventh season, and the top-ranked The MeatEater Podcast. Rinella is the author of six books including the 2018 bestseller The MeatEater Fish and Game Cookbook: Recipes and Techniques for Every Hunter and Angler, The Complete Guide to Hunting, Butchering, and Cooking Wild Game (volumes 1 and 2), American Buffalo: In Search of a Lost Icon, The Scavenger’s Guide to Haute Cuisine, and Meat Eater: Adventures from the Life of an American Hunter. His articles have appeared in publications such as Field & Stream, Men’s Journal, Outside, Glamour, O, The Oprah Magazine, Men’s Health, The New York Times, Bowhunter, and the anthologies The Best American Travel Writing and Best Food Writing. Rinella is the recipient of the 2017 Conservation Achievement Award from the Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership and recently joined the TRCP Board of Directors.
