Upright Citizens Brigade
Founded in 1996 by Matt Besser, Amy Poehler, Ian Roberts, and Matt Walsh (The “UCB4”), the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatres and Training Centers are home for all things comedy. The theaters in New York and Los Angeles offer affordable, high-quality shows seven nights a week, hosting the best and most innovative improv, sketch, stand-up comedy, variety shows, and cool/weird stuff that defies categorization. The UCB Training Centers’ teachers and alumni include writers and performers from Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Broad City, Key & Peele, Silicon Valley, Veep, Atlanta, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, The Daily Show, Inside Amy Schumer, Master of None, Drunk History, Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, and many other hit television shows and movies.
